Beata Czarnacka-Chrobot

Professor Beata Czarnacka-Chrobot is the Dean of the Collegium of Economic Analysis and Head of the Institute of Information Systems and Digital Economy at SGH Warsaw School of Economics. Her research focuses on software process and product measurement, with over 100 publications in this domain. She actively contributes to international advisory roles, including the COSMIC Consortium and Polish Association for Software Measurement (PSMO). Her work emphasizes methodological advancements in software cost estimation, benchmarking, and AI-driven analytical frameworks.

Research interests span software engineering, functional size measurement, and the application of machine learning to improve project cost predictions. She has pioneered studies on ISO/IEC standards compliance in Polish software procurement and the economic implications of workflow system enhancements.

As a leader in academic administration, she oversees doctoral programs and institutional strategy. Awards include the Marek Car Award, recognizing her contributions to economic informatics and software measurement disciplines.
