Baseerit Nissah

Dr. Baseerit Nissah is a Senior Lecturer in Finance at Coventry University, specializing in applied econometrics, economic growth, and debt sustainability analysis. Her work integrates time series and panel data methodologies to explore critical economic relationships, particularly in developing countries. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Leicester (2009), an MSc from the University of Warwick (2002), and a BA in Financial Economics from Coventry (2001).

Her research focuses on thresholds in the debt-growth nexus, debt sustainability frameworks, and public policy evaluation. Notable projects include analyzing debt crises in developing countries using panel cointegration and mapping public confidence in policing services through qualitative datasets. She has presented at international conferences such as UbiComp 2010 and the Manchester Crime Mapping Conference, contributing to interdisciplinary discussions on technology in public spaces and crime prevention.

Dr. Nissah currently advises two PhD students and teaches advanced courses in quantitative methods, international economics, and research design. Her recent work explores real-time feedback mechanisms for urban planning and the empirical analysis of economic growth determinants.
