Dr. Barry Logan is an accomplished forensic scientist serving as Clinical Professor of Forensic Science at Arcadia University and Visiting Scholar at Indiana University. He concurrently holds executive roles as Senior Vice President & Chief Scientist at NMS Labs and Executive Director of the Center for Forensic Science Research & Education (CFSRE). His leadership extends to directing the Robert F. Borkenstein Center at Indiana University and overseeing educational programs at the Fredric Rieders Family Renaissance Foundation.
Dr. Logan earned his degrees in Chemistry (1982) and Forensic Toxicology (1986) from the University of Glasgow, followed by postdoctoral training at the University of Tennessee. His research specializes in analytical toxicology of emerging drugs, including designer psychoactive substances, drug-impaired driving, and postmortem toxicology. He has published extensively on methamphetamine, cocaine, cannabinoids, and novel drug compounds.
