Barry Brodsky

Barry Brodsky is a Lecturer at Boston University's Film School, specializing in Screenwriting. He previously served as Director of the Screenwriting Certificate Program at Emerson College for 11 years, among other roles. Educated at Brandeis University (MFA in Theatre Arts) and the University of Massachusetts/Boston (BA in Political Science), he has taught at multiple institutions, including Lesley University and UMass/Boston. His work spans screenwriting, stage plays, and educational initiatives for veterans. Notably, his short script was nominated for Best Short Film at the Madrid International Film Festival, and his plays have been performed nationally and in Canada.
