Baris Istipliler is a habilitation candidate and postdoctoral researcher at the University of Mannheim's Business School within the Management department, specifically at the Chair of Entrepreneurship and SME Research. He completed his PhD summa cum laude at the University of Mannheim and holds an MSc from the same institution.

Baris's research focuses on entrepreneurial cognition and behavior, SME innovation, transgenerational entrepreneurship, and family business research.
