About
Professor Barbara Waugh is an Emeritus Faculty member at Dharma Realm Buddhist University (DRBU), where she has taught Sanskrit since its early days. Balancing her time between academia and healthcare, she worked as a public health nurse in Ukiah until retiring from that field in 2011 but continues to teach at DRBU. Her passion for Sanskrit stems from its rich religious and philosophical literature, poetic beauty, and the logical structure of its grammar, which she describes as 'magic' that 'calms her down.'
