Barbara M. Walsh

Barbara M. Walsh, MD is a Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics in Emergency Medicine at Boston University's Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. She holds an MD from the University of Massachusetts Medical School and a BA from Brandeis University. Dr. Walsh specializes in medical simulation education, pediatric emergency care, and interprofessional team training. She leads the COMET program, a national initiative using in situ simulation to improve resuscitation teamwork and patient safety. She also directs mobile outreach and in situ simulation at Boston Medical Center's Solomont Simulation Center.
