Barbara J. Heath

Barbara J. Heath is a Professor and Department Head in Anthropological Archaeology at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Her scholarly work spans archaeological method and theory, historical archaeology of eastern North America and the Caribbean, and the material culture of colonialism and the African diaspora. She is particularly noted for her research on Thomas Jefferson and public archaeology initiatives.
