Barbara Gurr is an Associate Professor in the Department of Social and Critical Inquiry at the University of Connecticut. Her work focuses on intersections of race, gender, and sexuality through lenses of reproductive justice, Indigenous rights, and speculative fiction analysis. She holds a PhD in Sociology from UConn and has authored seminal works on Native American women’s healthcare and post-apocalyptic media.
