Barbara Bolick, PhD, is an Instructional Assistant Professor at Texas A&M University's School of Public Health, Department of Health Behavior. She earned her PhD in Youth Development in 2025 and holds a BA in Government from the University of Texas at Austin (1994). Her work focuses on promoting mental health and social-emotional learning among underserved Spanish-speaking youth in the U.S., Central America, and the Caribbean.
- Current Role: Coordinates youth development programming initiatives across Latin America (Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Mexico).
- Research: Addresses adversity resilience in low-income adolescent girls and community health committee formation.
