Balthasar Grabmayr

Dr. Balthasar Grabmayr is an Assistant Professor of Logic at Tübingen University, affiliated with the Philosophical Seminar within the Faculty of Humanities. Before this position, he held postdoctoral roles at the University of Haifa (Department of Philosophy) and Tel Aviv University (Blavatnik School of Computer Science). He earned his PhD in Philosophy from Humboldt University of Berlin.

His research focuses on logic and the philosophies of logic, mathematics, and computation, with a particular emphasis on metamathematical results, self-reference, and foundational questions. Key areas include Gödel's theorems, formal systems, and the philosophical implications of mathematical logic.
