Baligh Ben Taleb is an Assistant Professor of American Indian Studies at San Francisco State University (SFSU), where he has been since Spring 2023. He holds a Ph.D. in History from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, supported by a Fulbright Scholarship and multiple prestigious fellowships. His research focuses on American Indian & Indigenous History, Settler Colonialism, and Decolonization, with particular attention to the North American West and transnational perspectives.
