B. Keith Simerson

B. Keith Simerson is an Instructor in the MS in Learning and Organizational Change Program at the School of Education and Social Policy (SESP), concurrently serving as an Independent Consultant and Coach. His expertise spans strategic planning, leadership development, and organizational change, with extensive cross-industry consulting experience.

Simerson holds an EdD from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and an MA from Appalachian State University. His academic and professional work focuses on strategic frameworks, corporate mergers, HR leadership, and management consulting across 18 industries, including healthcare, engineering, and military sectors.

Notable contributions include authoring Leading with Strategic Thinking (2015), Strategic Planning: A Practical Guide (2011), and co-authoring works on leadership, career management, and police management evaluation.
