Aziz Al-Azmeh

Aziz Al-Azmeh is a University Professor at the School of History and Interdisciplinary Historical Studies at Central European University in Budapest, Hungary, where he has taught since 2002. His extensive academic career includes positions at the American University of Beirut, Kuwait University, and the University of Exeter, along with visiting professorships at Yale University, Columbia University, University of California (Berkeley), and Georgetown University. He has held prestigious fellowships at the Wissenschaftskolleg zu Berlin, Swedish Institute for Advanced Studies, and Kollegium Budapest, and served as Director of Research Association at Maison des Sciences de l'Homme in Paris.
