Azeem Tariq

Azeem Tariq is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Plant and Environmental Sciences, University of Copenhagen, and a Marie Curie Post-doctoral Fellow at the University of Guelph, Canada. His research focuses on soil/plant nutrient cycling, greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and climate-smart agricultural practices.

He emphasizes soil carbon sequestration and nitrification inhibitors to reduce emissions. Recent projects include AgPro4CSA (EU-funded), KortDrænN2O, and Soil Health (NSERC Canada).
