Azam Ali is an Associate Professor and Course Leader for the MA in International Business at Regent’s University London. He holds a PhD candidacy at Middlesex University, focusing on innovative assessment methods in Higher Education. Previously, he served as Programme Director of MA Pathways, Principal Lecturer, and Head of International Business at Regent’s. His roles span over two decades in academic leadership, teaching, and professional development.
Education qualifications include an MBA from the University of Aston (1992), MA in Manpower Studies from the University of Westminster (1991), and certifications in online teaching, coaching, and leadership. He is a Fellow Member of the Chartered Management Institute (FCMI) and holds certifications from ILM and other professional bodies.
Research interests center on innovative assessments, heutagogy, and coaching in Higher Education. He has pioneered CPD-accredited masterclasses in psychometrics, group dynamics, and change management strategies. Key contributions include co-authoring two coaching textbooks and presenting at international conferences on teaching methodologies and strategic human resource management.
Awards include the 2nd highest mark nationally in the ILM Certificate in Coaching (2010) and recognition for academic leadership.
