Ayelet Fishbach

Ayelet Fishbach is the Eric J. Gleacher Distinguished Service Professor of Behavioral Science and Marketing at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She holds a PhD in Psychology from Tel Aviv University (1999), with prior degrees from the same institution. Her research focuses on motivation science, decision making, and consumer behavior, emphasizing how goals influence behavior and self-regulation. Fishbach has been recognized with major awards including the Society of Experimental Social Psychology’s Best Dissertation and Career Trajectory Awards, and serves as past president of the Society for the Science of Motivation and International Social Cognition Network.
