Avery Calkins

Avery Calkins is an economist and Professor of Policy Analysis at the RAND School of Public Policy, focusing on labor economics and occupational choice. Her work addresses military recruitment, retention, and compensation, alongside sexual harassment/assault in military settings and women's retention in STEM programs.

• Education: Ph.D. and MA in Economics from University of Michigan; BS in Economics from Carnegie Mellon University
