Austin Lange

Austin Lange serves as an Adjunct Faculty member in Winthrop University's College of Arts and Sciences, teaching WRIT 101 (Composition) while also instructing at York Technical College and providing academic writing tutoring services.

• BA in Art/Professional Writing from Winthrop University

Research Interests: Her scholarly work centers on the cultural and historical narratives of the American South, with primary focus areas including southern literary traditions, regional folklore, poetic expression, and critical analysis of literary forms. She explores how folk narratives intersect with contemporary poetic practices to shape regional identity.

Publications: Creative works have appeared in established literary journals including the South Carolina Review and Southern Women's Review, reflecting her engagement with southern creative communities.

Professional Activities: Maintains dual teaching positions across institutions while contributing to academic writing support services, demonstrating commitment to composition pedagogy and literary arts education in the Carolinas.
