Prof. Aura Timen is an Endowed Professor at the Athena Institute and Network Institute within the Faculty of Science at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU). She holds an ancillary appointment at the Radboud University Medical Center (Radboudumc) in Nijmegen since 2022. Her research focuses on infectious disease management, public health policy, and pandemic preparedness, with contributions to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to health and well-being.
