Aurélien Poidevin

Aurélien Poidevin is an Associate Professor of Contemporary History at the University of Rouen, specializing in the administrative, political, and social history of live performance, musical institutions, and performing arts techniques. He currently serves as Director of the Department of Cultural Professions and has held roles such as Inspection Officer in History and Geography for the Normandy Academy. Poidevin has authored/co-authored numerous books and edited volumes, including works on the history of opera during the Vichy regime and the institutional evolution of French cultural organizations.
