About
Ata Jadid Ahari is a Bioinformatics Researcher at the Chair of Computational Molecular Medicine, Technische Universität München (TUM), Germany (since 2025). Previously, he served as a Research Assistant in the same department from February 2022 to March 2025. He holds an M.Sc. in Biomedical Computing (TUM, 2021–2024) and a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Iran (2016–2021).
His research focuses on integrating computational methods with molecular medicine, particularly in cancer genomics, transcriptomics, and bioinformatics. Key projects include analyzing genetic drivers in melanoma and hematologic cancers using advanced sequencing and algorithmic approaches. His work bridges clinical data with computational models to uncover mechanisms underlying disease progression.
Publications highlight contributions to melanoma cell survival mechanisms via PHF5A splicing control and large-scale transcriptomic analyses of cancer driver genes. Collaborations involve interdisciplinary teams addressing cancer biology challenges.
No scientific awards or grants are explicitly listed in available information.
