Astrid Zabel

Astrid Zabel is a Senior Researcher at the Centre for Development and Environment (CDE) at the University of Bern, where she leads the Sustainable Land Systems impact area and serves on the Executive Committee. Her work bridges environmental economics, biodiversity conservation, and policy implementation, focusing on land-use systems, ecosystem services valuation, and sustainable finance.
