Dr. Astrid Schomäcker is a Postdoctoral Researcher and Project Coordinator at the University of Bayreuth's Institute of Philosophy, where she leads research in the Explainable Intelligent Systems (EIS) project. Her work investigates how explainability in AI systems contributes to societal goals like responsible decision-making and trustworthiness.
