Astrid Kramer

Dr. Astrid Kramer is an Associate Professor in the Department of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at Tilburg School of Economics and Management (TiSEM), Tilburg University. She serves as Academic Director of the Bachelor Business Economics program and teaches courses such as Skills Lab 2, Joining the Family Business, and Academic Skills. Her research focuses on family businesses, organizational justice in SMEs, healthcare networks, and authentic assessment methods in education.

Research Interests: Kramer’s work spans strategic management, entrepreneurship, family business dynamics, and educational pedagogy. She explores succession processes, HRM consistency in family SMEs, and student engagement through innovative assessment techniques. Her recent publications address topics like preventing academic misconduct and succession challenges in family enterprises.

Grants & Projects: She leads the Capstone Challenge project (2024–2025), redesigning graduation projects to balance student employability and academic rigor. She has supervised thesis work and contributed to datasets analyzing turnover intention prediction models.
