About
Astri Wayadande is an Associate Professor and Assistant Director in the Department of Entomology & Plant Pathology at Oklahoma State University. Her research focuses on vector biology, particularly the transmission mechanisms of plant and human pathogens by insects. She employs electropenetrography (EPG) to study feeding behaviors of vectors such as leafhoppers, aphids, mosquitoes (Aedes aegypti), and sandflies (Phlebotomus papatasi).
