Asta Shomberg

Asta Shomberg is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics & Computer Science at Providence University. She earned her Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2008, with a dissertation focused on estimating false discovery rates under parametric assumptions for DNA microarray applications. Her research bridges statistical theory and computational biology.
