Ashley S Brandon

Ashley S Brandon is an Associate Professor of Film, Television, and Media Arts in the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University. She is a multifaceted academic and filmmaker, working as a director, editor, sound designer, and production designer. Her creative and research outputs focus on horror, comedy, and hybrid genres, often reflecting societal themes such as women’s rights post-Roe v. Wade. Brandon’s projects have been funded by the Tribeca Film Institute, MacArthur Foundation, MountainFilm, Rooftop Films, and ESPN, and have premiered at major festivals like Sundance, SXSW, and Slamdance, as well as institutions including Princeton University and the Museum of Fine Arts Houston.
