Ashley Batts Allen is an Associate Dean of Faculty and Research in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. With a PhD in Social Psychology from Duke University and prior faculty experience at the University of North Florida, she focuses on self-compassion research across diverse populations.
