Ashley Baggett

Ashley Baggett serves as Director of Women and Gender Studies and Associate Professor of History within the School of Humanities at North Dakota State University, while also holding an associate faculty position in the School of Education's Social Science Teacher Education program.

• Doctorate in History with minor in Women and Gender Studies from Louisiana State University (2014)

Dr. Baggett's research specializes in women's history through the lens of intimate partner violence and socio-legal reform, examining intersections of gender, race, and location across American historical periods from the postbellum era to 1970s feminist movements.
