Dr. Ashish Kumar Saxena is a former member of the Department of Structure and Nano-/ Micromechanics of Materials at the Max Planck Institute for Sustainable Materials in Düsseldorf, Germany. His research focuses on nanomechanics, micromechanics, and advanced materials engineering. He holds a BSc in Physics, Electronics, and Mathematics (2002-2005), an MSc in Physics (2005-2007), an M.Tech in Materials Science Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Trichy, India (2008-2010), and a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, India (2010-2015).
