Dr. Asha Hornsby is a Research Fellow in the School of English at the University of St Andrews. Her work examines intersections between scientific medicine, public health, and Victorian literary culture. She holds a PhD from UCL and has held visiting fellowships at UCL’s Institute of Advanced Studies. Her current British Academy-funded research (2024-2026) explores global seafaring and disease in Victorian contexts.
