Asha Bowen

Dr. Asha Bowen is a Clinical Professor at the Division of Paediatrics, School of Medicine, University of Western Australia (UWA), and leads the Healthy Skin and ARF Prevention team at The Kids Research Institute Australia. She holds honorary positions at Menzies School of Health Research (Charles Darwin University), the University of Notre Dame Australia, and the University of Cape Town. Her work focuses on pediatric infectious diseases, skin infections, and Aboriginal health, with a strong emphasis on translational research. She has secured over $100 million in grants, including NHMRC Fellowships and the 3M Eureka Prize for Emerging Leader in Science.
