Dr. Arvind Kumar is a Research Fellow at the Stephen Young Institute (SYI), University of Strathclyde. Previously, he served as an Assistant Professor of Marketing at National Institute of Technology Rourkela for 4.5 years. He holds a PhD from the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi, and an MBA from the Army Institute of Management, Kolkata. His research focuses on Subsistence Marketplaces, Sustainability, and Happiness, with funding from IKS (Government of India), ICSSR, and OCPL. He has organized workshops on Intellectual Property Rights, Branding, and Financial Literacy, supported by SBI, RBI, and ICSSR. Dr. Kumar is actively involved in global sustainability initiatives, including EPSRC's Sustainable & Circular Materials project.
