Dr. Arvind Gudi is a Professor of Decision Sciences at Nova Southeastern University's H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business & Entrepreneurship. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration and an M.S. in Management Information Systems from Florida International University, complemented by a B.S. in Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering from the College of Engineering, Pune. His teaching focuses on MIS strategy, data analytics, service operations, and business statistics.
Gudi's research examines knowledge integration in emergency management, digital entrepreneurship, health informatics, and mindfulness applications. He leads a grant-funded project on community-based applied research for quality-of-life improvements. His publications demonstrate interdisciplinary work spanning disaster management frameworks, wearable technology adoption, mindfulness benefits, and agile methodologies. Research consistently integrates practical industry insights with academic theory.
Awards include the Best Paper Award at the 2016 Academy of Business Research Conference. He founded the Mindfulness Society at Huizenga College, conducting workshops on focus, leadership, and mental agility for students, faculty, and staff.
