Aron Rodrigue

Aron Rodrigue is a Professor of History and the Daniel E. Koshland Professor in Jewish Culture and History at Stanford University. He serves as the Burke Family Director of the Bing Overseas Studies Program and has held multiple leadership roles including Chair of the History Department (2005-2008) and Director of the Stanford Humanities Center (2008-2013).

His research focuses on Modern Jewish History, particularly Sephardic Jews in the Ottoman Empire and Balkans, French Jewish historiography, and comparative studies of minorities under empire.
