Arnoud van Delft is a former professor of Law at Hotelschool The Hague, where he served for 37 years. He played a pivotal role in establishing the placement office, internationalizing student placements, and developing the International Fast Track program. His contributions include pioneering English-language teaching and fostering partnerships with international hotel chains.
His research interests centered on advancing global opportunities for hospitality students through innovative educational frameworks, legal integration in professional training, and strategic international collaborations. He ensured 100% of trainees engaged in international placements by the late 1990s, a groundbreaking achievement in Dutch business education.
Arnoud also served as the first president of the MEDEZEGGENSCHAPSRAAD and led international recruitment efforts, significantly diversifying the student body. The International Fast Track program, co-created to streamline degree pathways for qualified international students, became a hallmark of the School’s success. Post-retirement, he remains engaged with former students and the institution.
