Arno Apffelstaedt

Jun.-Prof. Dr Arno Apffelstaedt is an Assistant Professor in Organizational Economics at the Department of Corporate Development, Faculty of Management, Economics and Social Sciences (WiSo Faculty), University of Cologne. His research focuses on Behavioral Economics, Experimental Economics, Ethics, Morality, Rules and Rule Compliance, and Group Identity.

His publications include studies on context-sensitive consumer behavior and social norms in rule compliance. He is affiliated with the Key Profile Area 'Social and Economic Behavior' and the Cluster of Excellence ECONtribute: Markets & Public Policy, which addresses societal challenges through interdisciplinary research.
