Armando Apan

Armando Apan is an Honorary Professor at the University of Southern Queensland's School of Surveying and Built Environment. With over 26 years of tertiary teaching experience, he specializes in geospatial technologies and their applications in environmental and agricultural systems.

• Research interests include remote sensing, GIS, crop stress detection, vegetation mapping, flood monitoring, and land use/cover analysis

His work focuses on geospatial data modeling for terrestrial ecosystem observation and climate change response. He has taught courses such as GIS3406 Remote Sensing and GIS1402 Geographic Information Systems.
