Arlene Sachs is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at UT Southwestern Medical Center and Director of Student Academic Support Services. Previously, she served on the faculty at The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) in the School of Brain and Behavioral Sciences, where she taught courses in literacy, learning disabilities, and psycho-educational assessment. She holds a Ph.D. in learning disabilities, reading, and assessment from Vanderbilt University, alongside Masters degrees in Reading and Early Childhood Education from George Peabody College of Vanderbilt University. Dr. Sachs is also a certified College Admission Counselor and founded Academic Bridges, Inc. in 2007 to provide in-home academic assistance.
