Arjen Versloot is a full-time Professor of Frisian Linguistics at the Faculty of Humanities, University of Amsterdam. His research focuses on historical linguistics, phonology, morphology, and sociolinguistics within Germanic languages, particularly Frisian, Old English, and their interactions with Dutch and other regional languages.
