Dr. Aristoteles Barcelos Neto is an Associate Professor in the Arts of the Americas at the University of East Anglia's Sainsbury Research Unit, specializing in the anthropology of South American Indigenous peoples. His research focuses on Upper Xingu Indigenous material culture, ethnographic film production, and museum collaboration. He holds a Ph.D. in Social Anthropology from the University of São Paulo (2004), awarded the National Science Council prize for best dissertation. His career includes visiting fellowships at institutions like the Collège de France and University of São Paulo.
