Aris Aris

Aris Aris is an Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering at the University of West Attica. He has participated in over 32 national, European, and international programs, serving as technical coordinator or principal researcher in 16. His roles also include being a Senior Member of IEEE, Assistant Editor-in-Chief (Special Issues) of IEEE IT Pro Magazine, and counselor of the IEEE student department of University of West Attica.

He has published over 100 papers and co-edited three books. His scientific awards include the 2015 Open Academic Courses Distinction, 2014 Elsevier Outstanding Reviewer, and 2013 IEEE Region 8 award.

Professional experience includes roles at University of West Attica (2011–today), National Technical University of Athens (1992–today), Agricultural University of Athens (2005–2010), and other research, consulting, and editing roles.
