Ariel Malka is the David & Ruth Gottesman Professor of Psychology and Political Science at Yeshiva University. He holds a BA from the University of Rochester and both an MA and PhD from the University of California, Berkeley. His research focuses on political psychology, public opinion, and survey measurement, addressing topics such as the psychological underpinnings of political preferences, democracy support, and authoritarian inclinations. His work also explores expressive survey responding and the implications for democratic processes.
Malka's research spans studies on ideological belief systems, partisan cue receptivity, and the relationship between religiosity and political attitudes.
