Ariane Szafarz is a Professor of Finance at the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management (SBS-EM), Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), Belgium, and co-director of the Centre for European Research in Microfinance (CERMi). Her research spans microfinance, gender discrimination, and financial markets, with publications in journals such as the Academy of Management Review, European Economic Review, and Review of Finance.
