Aretha Aoki is the A. LeRoy Greason Associate Professor in the Creative Arts at Bowdoin College, affiliated with the Theater and Dance department. She is based at the Edwards Center for Art & Dance (office 223). Her work bridges choreography, performance, and interdisciplinary collaboration, focusing on the body as a medium for familial history and experimental movement. She holds an MFA from Smith College and a BFA from Simon Fraser University.
