Dr. Arden Morris is Professor of Surgery and Vice-Chair for Research at Stanford University School of Medicine, with courtesy appointment in Health Policy. She directs the Stanford-Surgery Policy Improvement Research and Education (S-SPIRE) Center.
Research addresses quality and equity in cancer care through mixed-methods approaches. Focus areas include rectal cancer treatment standardization, healthcare disparities, surgical outcomes optimization, and policy implementation. Current leadership roles include National Accreditation Program for Rectal Cancer Quality Committee and ACS Cancer Surgery Standards Program.
