Apurv Kumar

Apurv Kumar serves as a Research Fellow at the Institute for Climate, Energy & Disaster Solutions (ICEDS) within the College of Science at the Australian National University (ANU), focusing on renewable energy systems and thermal science applications.

His research spans fundamental and applied aspects of thermofluid dynamics, with particular expertise in:

• Thermodynamics and heat/mass transfer modelling (analytical and numerical)
• Computational Multiphase Fluid Mechanics
• Finite Element Modelling
• Experimental Fluid Mechanics and Heat transfer

As an active member of ICEDS' Solar thermal research group, Dr. Kumar contributes to advancing solar energy technologies through both computational simulations and experimental validation. His work supports the institute's mission in developing climate and disaster-resilient energy solutions for the Asia-Pacific region.
