April Cowan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston (UTMB) School of Health Professions. She serves as Chair ad interim and Program Director for the Post-Professional Occupational Therapy Doctorate. Her clinical and scholarly work focuses on upper extremity rehabilitation, pediatric burn recovery, and evidence-based practice.
