April Buschelman

Dr. April Buschelman, EdD, is an Assistant Professor at Creighton University's College of Arts and Sciences. She coordinates field placements and state certifications for teacher education programs, teaches graduate and undergraduate education courses, and provides Safe Environment Training for the Archdiocese of Omaha.

Her research interests focus on teacher preparation, educational leadership, and leadership coaching methodologies, informed by her role in overseeing internship agreements and certifications.

Dr. Buschelman's scientific contributions include her leadership as Past-President of the Nebraska Association of Colleges for Teacher Education and her certification as a Gallup Strengths Coach. Her Gallup top 5 strengths are Futuristic, Maximizer, Achiever, Relator, and Command.
